<\/p>\ni heard many bad stuff from people online and the colleagues at work about microsoft teams. i never used it before. i used the old and the new skype for some time, never really enjoyed using it. when the company i was working was merging with another company, selecting google vs. microsoft was a topic. people in the company that i work were afraid of switching to microsoft, consequently to microsoft teams. but the google people won, after their cost analysis probably.<\/p>\n
i installed teams for the first time today. i was able to log in to my microsoft account. the app sign-in worked fine. i just needed to enter a code i received via email.<\/p>\n
then it asked me to ‘get started’, otherwise i didn’t see anything on the ui. i didn’t want to sync any contacts but i guess i had to do it. we got started. it showed some loading animations and told me ‘you are ready’. there were buttons on the left, i wasn’t interested in them. but i didn’t see how i can create a meeting in the first look. i also couldn’t see any contacts but 1 name is shown on the chat page. maybe i had only one contact, a close friend of mine.<\/p>\n
then i closed it since i don’t need to do anything now. after a while, i saw an icon on the toolbar asking for attention.<\/p>\n

it asked me to look for the updates. i looked for them. then it downloaded and installed a 399 mb package. i didn’t understand what it updated. when i check the apps, i saw two of them. teams and autoupdate. they are both up-to-date now. i clicked a button and now i automatically keep microsoft apps up to date. that was my first experience with microsoft teams.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
