Bir &#8220;de\u011fi\u015ftirme etkisi&#8221; vard\u0131r: &#8220;kriz ve \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fun sosyal deneyimi i\u00e7erisine mal edilme bi\u00e7imi aras\u0131ndaki ba\u011flant\u0131 -sosyal anksiyete- bir dizi yanl\u0131\u015f &#8216;\u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm&#8217;\u00fcn i\u00e7inden ge\u00e7er&#8221; (Hall vd. 1978, 322). Teknolojik ve \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmc\u00fcl\u00fck ve \u0130nternet merkezcilik g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde k\u00fcresel kriz durumlar\u0131nda ideolojik olarak yanl\u0131\u015f \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmlerdir.<\/p>\n<p>Teknolojik \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmc\u00fcl\u00fck ve \u0130nternet\/sosyal medya feti\u015fizmi, Hall vd.&#8217;nin (1978) anlamland\u0131rma sarmallar\u0131 ad\u0131n\u0131 verdiklerinin kal\u0131c\u0131 bir bi\u00e7imini olu\u015fturur. Bir anlamland\u0131rma sarmal\u0131nda, bir tehdit tan\u0131mlan\u0131r ve &#8220;\u00f6nlem al\u0131nmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 takdirde&#8221; &#8220;emin ad\u0131mlar \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131s\u0131&#8221; ile sonu\u00e7lanan &#8220;daha \u00e7ok rahats\u0131z edici zamanlar\u0131n&#8221; gelece\u011fi iddia edilir (Hall vd. 1978, 223). E\u011fer harekete ge\u00e7mez ve en yeni \u0130nternet platformlar\u0131n\u0131 ve uygulamalar\u0131n\u0131 kullanmazsak, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz ideolojileri bize, toplumun korunamayaca\u011f\u0131 ve su\u00e7lular\u0131n, ter\u00f6ristlerin, s\u00fcbyanc\u0131lar\u0131n, sapk\u0131nlar\u0131n, a\u015f\u0131r\u0131l\u0131k yanl\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n kurban\u0131 olaca\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 s\u00f6ylerler ve bilgisizli\u011fimiz e\u015fsizce, bize s\u00f6ylemek istedikleri gibi, denetlenebilir. Bug\u00fcn \u0130nternet&#8217;in d\u00fcnyan\u0131n k\u00f6t\u00fcl\u00fcklerinin nedeni ve\/veya \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u00e7ok say\u0131da \u0130nternet anlamland\u0131rma sarmal\u0131 vard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Ahlaki panik i\u00e7erisinde, &#8220;denetim k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc&#8221; (\u00f6rne\u011fin su\u00e7 ve ter\u00f6rizm ile ilgili polis s\u00f6ylemleri) ve &#8220;anlamland\u0131rma k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc&#8221; (magazin medya taraf\u0131ndan olu\u015fturulan su\u00e7lu abart\u0131s\u0131 gibi) s\u0131k s\u0131k birlikte hareket eder (Hall vd. 1978, 76). Medya, polis gibi, &#8220;denetim s\u00fcrecinin kendisinin bir ayg\u0131t\u0131, &#8216;ideolojik devlet ayg\u0131t\u0131&#8217; olarak hareket eder&#8221; (Hall vd. 1978, 76). \u0130nternet nispeten yeni bir enformasyon, ileti\u015fim ve i\u015fbirli\u011fi ortam\u0131 olarak (Fuchs 2008a), adeta ideolojik denetim kurumlar\u0131 olarak hareket etme e\u011filiminde olan ana ak\u0131m medyadan farkl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fcn ahlaki pani\u011fi i\u00e7ine sokulur. \u0130nternet ve sosyal medya ahlaki panik ile ili\u015fkili korkular\u0131n ve umutlar\u0131n ideolojik tasar\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131n sahneleri olarak hareket eder; baz\u0131lar\u0131, ter\u00f6ristler, isyanc\u0131lar, vandallar ve su\u00e7lular taraf\u0131ndan kullan\u0131lan tehlikeli alanlar olmalar\u0131 nedeniyle \u0130nternet g\u00f6zetimi yard\u0131m\u0131yla denetlenmeleri gerekti\u011fini iddia ederken, mallar, protestolar ve devrimlerin merkezinde olan siyasal umudun yeni bir mek\u00e2n\u0131 oldu\u011funu iddia eder. \u0130ki s\u00f6ylem de toplumdan ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131z olarak teknolojinin g\u00fcc\u00fcne olan y\u00fcksek inanc\u0131 payla\u015f\u0131r. Toplumsal olaylara (su\u00e7, ter\u00f6r, krizler, siyasal d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmler) teknolojinin neden oldu\u011fu ve toplumsal olaylar\u0131n teknoloji taraf\u0131ndan denetlendi\u011finde yan\u0131l\u0131rlar. Ancak toplumsal fenomenler sadece ileti\u015fimsel ve teknolojik mek\u00e2nlarda kendilerini ifade eder; teknolojiler onlara neden olmaz.
